Microsoft 365 is a subscription-based service that includes the well established Office suite of products. There are a number of different subscription options available. Please contact us if you're unsure which subscription your company is providing.
Exchange Online is an email only service that includes:
- 50 GB Exchange email accounts which can be setup on desktop, tablets and mobile devices.
- Access to Outlook Web App for your email, calendar, contacts and tasks.
The Microsoft 365 Business Basic account provides users with the following:
- 50 GB Exchange email accounts which can be setup on desktop, tablets and mobile devices.
- Web versions of Outlook (email, calendar, contacts and tasks), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote for each user.
- Mobile access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote on iOS and Android devices (via the respective apps that are freely available from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
- Shared storage on Microsoft One Drive (the equivalent of a shared folder on a server).
Microsoft 365 Business Standard accounts also provide:
- Full desktop versions of the popular suite of Microsoft Office products that allow you to access and save files on your computer without an internet connection.
Non-profit organisations (registered charities) can apply for heavily discounted subscriptions, with Microsoft 365 Essentials accounts provided free of charge. Users can optionally upgrade to the Microsoft 365 Business Standard plan which includes desktop versions of each application (eg. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at a discounted rate.
